The processes that ensure a reliable and transparent workflow
Stock monitoring is carried out alongside continuous tracking of market trends and EUR/USD exchange rates. Based on this analysis, we schedule purchases according to the relevant futures markets.
Contact with exporters from the selected origin follows, allowing us to compare quotations and differentials to identify the most suitable offer.
Contract closing takes place once conditions are confirmed, while market movements are monitored up to the shipment date. This ensures accurate final pricing in relation to the New York Arabica and London Robusta exchanges.
Before shipment, the exporter sends a pre-shipment sample.
The sample is tested for moisture level (screening) and cup quality.
If it does not meet our standards, a new lot is requested. Once approved, after approximately one month from shipment,
the coffee arrives at our warehouses in Malta and Slovenia.
Humidity is checked again and the coffee is tested to confirm consistency with the approved sample. If confirmed, it is delivered to our clients.
Sales trends were essentially consistent throughout the year, with the exception of two peaks in July (+20%) and a significantly more pronounced peak in November (+50%).
In October and November, in response to numerous requests and above all to guarantee delivery before the Christmas holidays, we increase the volume of goods in stock, but within the limits of estimated requirements.
The average stock turnover is 45 days.
